Tami and I put ARMRA, AG1 and IM8 to the test - arguably the best all-in-one supplements we’ve found up to this point. I went with AG1 and IM8, while Tami tried ARMRA Colostrum multiple times over the last couple years.

Personally, I’ve been buying AG1 with my own bankroll for the past two years. One of the main reasons I take supplements like these is because I feel it can improve my performance in the gym. I love strength training, I’m a former athlete and I’d like to keep my athleticism going.

And since I created videos and blog posts about my experience with it, other brands have been reaching out to see if Tami and I would be willing to try their product. In this case - ARMRA and IM8 (shoutout to those brands for giving us the opportunity).

You may have heard of all three, as each brand aggressively pushes their product on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.

And I can see how all three can be compared to each other, considering that each is an all-in-one supplement.

Each product, however, is different from our experiences. And choosing the right one will boil down to understanding the concept behind each supplement + your goals.

Note: It doesn’t matter which one you pick, or if you don’t choose one at all. The goal should be to find the product that fits you best, and (quick disclaimer) always talk to your doctor before taking any supplement AND do your own research on ingredients.

Here’s the cliff notes, and who we feel ARMRA, AG1 and IM8 are for, then I’ll get into our experience with all three.

Cliff Notes

  • Choose ARMRA if: you’ve done your research on Colostrum, your main goal is to protect your immune system to stay healthy for the long term, and with potential beauty perks.
  • Choose AG1 if: you’re wanting to replace the plethora of supplements you take (multivitamins, greens, functional mushrooms, prebiotics, probiotics, etc.) - it’s a true, all-in-one supplement.
  • Choose IM8 if: you’re an athlete or fitness enthusiast… or you want to nourish your body in order to improve your performance with your training. Also an all-in-one supplement and most comparable to AG1, but IM8 tastes a little better.

I’ll start with my experience with AG1, get into IM8, and then share Tami’s experience with ARMRA Colostrum.

My Experience With AG1

Just over two years ago I was taking a lot of supplements. But when I heard of AG1 being a potential product that could replace my self-made “essential stack,”, I was very intrigued. Mainly because I could save money overall, but also having one serving as opposed to multiple throughout my day sounded much better.

In my detailed AG1 review, I mentioned how I took it for over a year. Time has passed now, and it’s been just over 2 years (on and off).

AG1 supplement

My entire goal was to replace the 5 supplements I was taking, and to nourish my body of essential vitamins, minerals, greens, probiotics, prebiotics, etc.

AG1 provides that for me.

As a savvy shopper, I don’t really pay attention to marketing claims. I’ll do my own research on ingredients and pay attention to what my body lacks.

And as someone who really values staying in shape, working out in the gym, and having an edge when it comes to business, I wanted an all-in-one supplement that could potentially provide me a little bit more sustained energy, with the ultimate goal of getting more sh*t done.

I filmed myself unboxing AG1, see below:

After taking AG1 as long as I have, and then taking time off of it, I can tell there is a slight difference with my energy levels - a tad bit more when I’m taking AG1, and less than that when I’m not taking it (consistently).

The only drawback, which can be a really big one, is the taste. It’s pure greens - very bland, earthy, etc. Not something I like to sip on… more of a chug it down hope for the best type of approach.

Overall, it did give me some extra energy and I saw a slight improvement with digestion.

With this small amount of energy I was receiving from taking AG1, I was able to get extra reps on the bench press and work an extra hour or two on my business. To me, that’s worth $79/mo.

If only it could taste better…

I guess that’s where IM8 comes in…

My Experience with IM8

IM8 reached out to us to try their product, and I was very interested because it was so similar to AG1, but not a “greens” supplement. Plus, I’m a former athlete myself, and hearing David Beckham was a co-founder seemed pretty cool. It’s one of those ideals that, “if it’s good enough for Beckham, it’s good enough for me.”

I was probably more interested in whether it could improve my performance during strength training - mainly recovery and sustained energy.

IM8 supplement

The Açaí and Mixed Berries flavor sounded much better than what I was currently taking - AG1 greens, which I already mentioned isn’t the greatest as far as taste goes.

I mentioned the taste in my IM8 Daily Essentials supplement review - it tastes better than AG1, but it’s not a delicious cocktail.

IM8 sent us 2 month’s worth of their supplement, which came in a really nice branded box filled with multiple items. Check out my unboxing video below:

During my 2 month trial, I felt a very similar effect while taking AG1. Definitely improved energy during workouts. However, I feel that I recovered faster with IM8, which led me to attack my next day’s workout. I cannot say that it improved my sleep or my immune health, although I didn’t get sick during that time frame.

With any supplement, I find it extremely hard to be perfect when it comes to taking it everyday. So yes, I took it for 2 months, but there were a few days where I totally forgot to take it.

Overall, I felt decent effects with IM8 and I can see why they market it to anyone looking to improve their fitness or maximize their athletic performance, or even business performance. I believe my recovery from one training day to the next was much more efficient while taking IM8.

If I can continue to get these small, incremental results, then IM8 is worth $79/mo for me. Again, I’m always looking to gain a slight edge, and I don’t expect monumental changes with any supplement.

Now, let’s say you don’t like the sounds of AG1 or IM8, and you want to go with something a little different, but also an all-in-one supplement. That’s where ARMRA comes in.

Tami’s Experience With ARMRA Colostrum

Let’s start with Tami’s big takeaways from using ARMRA Colostrum:

Big Takeaways:

  • Did not get ill (sick: ie: cold, flu, etc.) while taking AMRA Colostrum
  • Noticed a small improvement in healthier, thicker hair
  • Noticed a small improvement in energy

From Tami: “ARMRA Colostrum is one of those supplements that you may not feel huge changes, but you know you're taking it and it could be helping your body. The effects I felt weren’t huge, but I did notice small improvements in hair growth, energy and immune defense.”

ARMRA Colostrum supplement

Tami was first introduced to ARMRA when they were just getting started - around 2+ years ago. In that time frame, she created multiple videos on YouTube sharing her experience.

She prefers the Blood Orange flavor of ARMRA Colostrum Immune Revival. I’ve tasted it too, it’s actually pretty good.

A pretty big downside, depending on your economic situation, is the price. It’s much higher than AG1 and IM8. But if money isn’t an issue and you’re really set on colostrum, ARMRA is our top choice among other colostrum supplements.

Below, you’ll see a comparison chart I created that highlights, what I believe, are the main differences and similarities for each product.

Quick Recap

If there’s one thing Tami and I learned over the past 6 years covering supplements, it’s that you can’t always believe the marketing hype. Take it for what it is, know your goals going into it… and hopefully you get small wins.

ARMRA AG1 and IM8 supplements together
  • Looking for improved immunity, beauty perks and energy? Consider ARMRA Colostrum
  • Thinking of replacing all your supplements into one? Consider AG1 or IM8. It appears that IM8 has one-upped AG1 for almost every ingredient - so it’s safe to say that they are pretty identical - ingredients and price. The major difference is the flavor / taste. IM8, to me, wins the taste battle. But AG1 isn’t unbearable.
