Struggling with energy? How about getting your greens in an easier way? I tried Gruns gummies for 30 days to see if they would help.
Gruns is a greens-focused supplement gummy brand that claims to boost energy, support gut health, and improve overall well-being with its blend of greens, key vitamins, minerals, nutrients, adaptogens and prebiotics.
Listen, I took AG1 for two years, and while I appreciated the benefits of more energy, better sleep and improved mood, the powdered form wasn’t always the most convenient.
I’ve been on the lookout for an easier way to get my greens, and gummies seemed like a promising alternative to powder. However, I am also very skeptical because I know gummies might not absorb in my body as well as powder. For me to consistently take them, they need to have great taste and texture.
About Gruns Gummies

Tired of choking down a greens powder supplement? Gruns gummies provide us the opportunity to get the same essential nutrients into a tasty gummy.
Their packaging is vibrant - a bold, bright green bag that aligns perfectly with their branding. Inside the large bag are individual “snack packs” that have one serving size (8 gummies) already picked out for convenience.

Gruns uses standard third-party testing to ensure their label claims are accurate and clear of contaminants - great for peace of mind and a sign of a high-quality product.
In total, there are 60 ingredients, including essential vitamins like B Vitamins and Vitamin C, whole food vegetables and fruits like spinach, kale, and blueberries, prebiotics, super mushrooms and adaptogens. These ingredients combined aim to help with four main benefits:

In addition, if you choose to opt-in to their email marketing, they send occasional discounts for future purchases. I provided both the amazon and the gruns website links below for your convenience:

Did Gruns Gummies Change My Mind? My 30-Day Review
When I first heard about gruns, I hemmed and hawed about trying them. I was still taking AG1 at the time and my results were fairly good. But, I didn’t like the taste all that much - it was “earthy.”
So the idea of a delicious greens gummy was intriguing, I just didn’t know if I was going to get the same benefits. There was only one way to find out - buy it and test it.
I decided to purchase gruns gummies on their official website, although you can get them at amazon. The 40% off sale for a first time purchase was something I wanted to take advantage of, and that was only available on gruns.co.

I placed my order and waited for the shipment, which took 3 days to arrive at my doorstep. The packaging was impressive - a colorful green box with the “gruns” in big font and a gummy bear to showcase their product.

It came in a big bag, but inside this bag are individual “snack packs” that have one serving size, which are 8 gummies.

My initial reaction of 8 gummies per serving was mixed, as I was thinking it might be too many gummies, but if they taste good then maybe that’s a good thing.
Eating My First Gruns Gummy
I grabbed a snack pack and opened it with ease. It was like opening a Welch’s gummies package.
As soon as I opened it, there was a pleasant fruity smell, which usually indicates that it’s going to taste good. The gummies themselves are shaped as little bears.

I pulled out a gruns gummy bear and started chewing. The taste was fruity and sweet without a hint of the earthy greens flavor. The texture is in-between soft and hard (medium). They’re chewy, but not too chewy and they didn’t stick to my teeth at all. Last but not least, the aftertaste is pleasant, almost tasting like a raisin, and left me wanting another one.
By the way, we purchased gruns kids gummies for our two kids and they loved the taste of those, too! You can read Tami's review of gruns kids gummies to learn more.
One thing I could confirm at this point - gruns gummies is 100% the easiest and most convenient way to get your greens in.
The effects? Well, I would have to wait and see. A supplement is only as good as your routine with it - that’s one thing I’ve learned with taking so many supplements over the years.
My Daily Routine With Gruns Gummies
My routine with gruns gummies started in the mornings after breakfast, which I thought was the easiest way to remember to take them for me.
It ended up being a great idea because the gummies taste sweet - a yummy compliment to my eggs and sausage breakfast. That’s right, savory and sweet!
I continued to do this for the entire package, which took me 30 days. There are 28 servings in each big bag, but I missed two days - life happens and I’m not perfect.
Initial Effects
It wasn’t until the two and a half week mark of consistent use when I felt a difference in my energy levels. Most noticeable was around 2 PM, which is when I usually get a slight crash from working all day, but that didn’t happen at the two and a half week mark.
Duration of Effects
From this point forward, the sustained energy from taking gruns remained consistent. I didn’t notice my energy levels rising any further, as in a bigger breakthrough, but they also never went back down.
Negative Effects
The one negative effect from taking gruns gummies is a slight upset stomach every once in a while. It doesn’t happen all the time, but I’m thinking it’s the prebiotics. This happened to me while taking AG1 as well.
Finishing My Gruns Gummies Batch
Overall, my experience taking gruns gummies was very positive. I didn’t notice any gut health benefits, but it did accomplish two things I set out. And those are:
- Increased energy levels
- An easier, more convenient way to take a greens supplement (that I actually look forward to).
Plans for the Future
So far, I’ve tried a lot of greens supplements to find the right one that works for me and doesn’t break the bank. I plan on switching to gruns, but I’m not sure I’m going to do it every single month. I want to be able to eat whole vegetables and fruits as part of my wellness routine. However, gruns are so convenient that it’s going to be hard to do that. Kudos to gruns for making this product.
Here are the other greens supplements that I’ve used and compare pretty close to gruns:
Gruns vs Athletic Greens vs Create Daily Performance
The most sought after comparison is gruns vs AG1 (formerly Athletic Greens). Both have been featured in my trending DTC wellness brands to keep an eye on.
The formulas are very similar, providing essential vitamins, minerals, digestive ingredients like probiotics and prebiotics, adaptogens, functional mushrooms and whole fruits & veggies.
They’re both an all-in-one supplement. AG1 has been the pioneer of greens powder supplements and leads the charge. Gruns is creeping up because they offer almost the same formulation in a gummy form, which consumers tend to flock to.
Another close comparison is gruns vs create daily performance gummies. The formulas of these two are fairly similar, with the main difference being in Create, which focuses on adding creatine to their products. Create would be more for active lifestyle individuals.
So, if you like to workout, lift weights, or you’re on a weight loss journey, Create would be a product you want to look further into. Whereas gruns are more for a complete well-being supplement to help you improve your energy levels, while fueling your body with nutrients you may be lacking.
From my experience, gruns gummies tastes better than all three, and it’s not even close. However, I got the best results with AG1. I just really don’t like drinking the greens, so I’m willing to make the change.
Here’s a comparison chart that you may find helpful, where I’ll display the prices, servings, my taste rating and more:
Product Name | Gruns | AG1 | Create |

Final Thoughts
The last 30 days taking gruns gummies have been a positive experience for me. I am extremeley impressed with the taste and texture - both are excellent. I was after improved energy levels and a more convenient way to take a greens supplement - mission accomplished on both accounts.
Currently, I’m taking my second batch in month two. I will continue to update this article when I have new findings, if any.

Rating Gruns Gummies
I gave Grüns Gummies a solid 4.6/5 stars because they delivered on all the things that matter most - noticeable energy improvements, minimal side effects, and great taste. They’re one of the few greens supplements I’ve tried that actually taste good and don’t leave an earthy aftertaste, plus they’re priced competitively for the quality. It’s a well-rounded product that’s easy to recommend!
Effectiveness
I rated the effectiveness a 4.5/5 because I did notice having better energy after the two and a half week mark, which stayed consistent throughout my 30 days and beyond.
Side Effects
There weren't too many side effects, so I gave it a 4.8/5 star rating. Some upset stomach issues, but that's to be expected with a greens supplement that contains prebiotics.
Value
I rated the value a 4.5/5 because they are competitively priced and one of the lesser expensive all-in-one supplements out there.
Taste
I rated the taste a 4.7/5, which is an excellent score for a product like this. They're sweet, no earthy taste and there's not a bad aftertaste either. The texture is great, too - not too chewy and the gummies don't stick to my teeth.
