Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) medications are gaining serious momentum going into 2025, and there are hundreds (if not thousands) of GLP-1 weight loss brands rising to the surface.

The popularity of these weight loss medications are stemming from countless before and after success stories and new findings from academic studies and breaking news stories.

For example, health.com published a very interesting article on weight loss medications for women in menopause. Not only did the interviewed doctors say that, yes, GLP-1 meds can help women in menopause lose weight, there were also academic findings on GLP-1s helping balance hormones, lower risk of cardiovascular disease, and restoring insulin sensitivity.

Whether you’re in menopause or not, the point is, there are GLP-1 weight management programs tailored to your personal situation, and there are chances of enhancing overall health.

It’s important to note that not everyone needs a GLP-1 medication like Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Ozempic and Wegovy. And, always consult a medical professional before using a GLP-1.

I have three goals for this article:

  1. 1
Highlight trustworthy, trending brands that offer specific GLP-1 weight loss plans.
  2. 2
Match you up to the right provider to your specific stage of life.
  3. 3
Provide a free strength training program for beginners (I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and want to raise awareness on building muscle while taking a GLP-1)

Ready? Me too, let’s get started!

Trending Up: The Best Personalized GLP-1 Weight Management Brands

The reason why the following Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) GLP-1 weight loss brands are trending is because they focus their weight management plan on specific personalities, instead of serving the masses.

These plans are personalized in a way that the medication could work for you and provide personalized support, specific to your life stage.

Therefore, these weight loss medication brands are getting out in front of the right audience and consumers are noticing them, giving them a try, and following up with raving reviews.

There’s something for everyone, so take a look below to find your GLP-1 brand match, or take our quiz to get matched up with the perfect brand.

Join Josie (For Women Over 40, Perimenopause, Menopause)

join josie glp-1 brand for menopause and perimenopause

Over 40 years old and not sure which weight management program is for you?

The perimenopause and menopause space now has a specific GLP-1 weight loss program that personalizes your plan, and that’s Join Josie.

They offer Semaglutide and Tirzepatide as their medications (shipped to your doorstep), and amazing customer support (online and offline) through your journey.

One woman, named Diane, wrote this testimonial about her experience with Josie’s weight loss program:

verified review of woman in menopause who used Join Josie for weight loss

"

“52 years old and in menopause. I have lost 17 pounds, thanks to Josie, using Tirzepatide for 2 months. I haven’t felt this great since my late 30’s. The support goes above and beyond to help me reach my weight goals, and it makes me feel cared for. I highly recommend any woman in menopause to go with them.”

Diane Join Josie Customer

Join Josie shares insights on how GLP-1’s could help restore insulin levels, which has been a theory from doctors on why weight gain occurs during menopause. Insufficient insulin levels have also been linked to hot flashes, night sweats and other menopause symptoms - all stemming from weight gain.

They know the menopause space inside and out, and provide some humor to help women cope with their struggles, including funny memes on their social media accounts.

The team at Join Josie has board-certified clinicians that approve your medication, if you qualify. They provide regular check-ins to ensure your medication is the right dosage.

All you have to do is get started with the Join Josie quiz, where they will match you up with the right medication based on your unique perimenopause or menopause situation.

Join Delilah (For Women Under 40)

join delilah glp-1 brand for women under 40

If you’re a woman under the age of 40 (and not in perimenopause), Join Delilah is the best option. Delilah focuses on women who have been struggling losing weight and tailors their program to solve the problem.

They offer compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide with added support and check-ins from their board-certified clinicians. You won’t feel like another number with Delilah, as their support goes above and beyond to make sure you’re sticking to the plan.

There are a significant number of positive reviews on Delilah’s website. Most women praise the entire process, from sign up to purchase to online and offline support.

Their pricing is on par with all the other big-name GLP-1 brands, making it competitive for the consumer and a reason to try them, instead of going with a general-population brand for the same price.

To start the process, take the Join Delilah quiz, where they will ask you questions related to your weight and goals. Then, the quiz will generate the best plan for your needs.

Hers (For Women Under 30)

hers glp-1 brand for women

Hers has been around the women’s wellness space for years. What started out as a hair loss and sexual health telemedicine brand for women, has now turned into an all-encompassing telemedicine clinic. And now they added GLP-1 medication, which they are heavily pushing.

However, their main audience appears to market to the under 30 female population. With their hip marketing and progressive views, one could say going with hers is a political decision. You’ll often find their models with short, colored hair, tattoos and hip-style clothing.

Hers’ aesthetic appeal draws attention to women who want to lose weight. Their branding and packaging is on point, as well as their digital presence.

As for their GLP-1 weight loss medications, they offer variety. Yes, they offer an injectable compounded semaglutide, but they also offer oral semaglutide, which caters to those who don’t want to inject medication. Whether or not oral Semaglutide is as effective remains to be studied.

To get started with hers, visit their website and start the quiz.

Fella Health (For Busy Men Professionals)

fella health glp-1 brand for busy men

Fella Health was one of the first male-focused GLP-1 weight loss brands to exist, and is trending upwards as we move into 2025.

With a strong visual identity, they were able to build a men’s only type of club for wellness. Thousands of men are currently in the program, which focuses on building long-lasting weight loss.

Fella Health has a legit team behind the brand, with their founder and board-certified clinicians making sure you’re having a great experience.

And the customer reviews of Fella Health back that claim, as they hold a 4.9/5 star rating with hundreds of verified reviews. The majority of men see the results of the medication, and the ones that add strength training see even better results.

To get started with Fella Health, visit their website and take their quiz.

Hims (For Men Under 30)

hims glp-1 brand for men

Another men’s only brand is Hims, which is owned by the same company as “hers.” Hims has a very aesthetically pleasing and user friendly website, making it easy for men to find what they’re looking for.

One of their main products now is their GLP-1 weight loss medication, offering compounded Semaglutide in injectable and oral form.

Hims has been trending, yes, but their customer satisfaction score is lowering on Trustpilot. This could be a sign that they are getting too big for their britches.

Nonetheless, Hims is a huge brand that’s a one-stop shop for telemedicine for men. You should consider Hims if you’re thinking about hair loss treatment, anxiety medication, and sexual health treatment down the road.

To get started, visit Hims - they have a very intuitive quiz that will match you up with the right medication.

Note: To see the similarities and differences on hims and Fella Health, check out my comparison on Fella vs hims.

WeightCare (Heavy Gen Z)

WeightCare has taken off over the past year, thanks to their aggressive marketing tactics on social media. They claim to have over 46,000 members, and it can be pretty believable after seeing real people in their review photos.

They cater to all age groups, but the majority of their customers are Gen Z’s. Their website is sleek and user friendly, doing an excellent job at portrating the value of their service.

Besides offering GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, WeightCare offers 24/7 unlimited support through their secure mobile app system, which is HIPPA compliant. Yes, they do monthly check-ins like the rest of the brands on here, but they take it a step further with access to their doctor anytime.

The Gen Z population might have some FOMO after visiting WeightCare’s website, seeing all the users’ before and after success journeys. And the prices? Very high compared to most on this list. But they’re still acquiring and attaining a large amount of customers each month.

Is the medication any different? No, but their customer care seems to be a cut above, a perk that the Gen Z population is loving.

Note: If you want to learn all about this brand, then you’ll want to read my review of WeightCare, which goes into specific details about the program, what to expect and how to get started.

FuturHealth (For All Consumers)

FuturHealth GLP-1 brand

FuturHealth was founded in 2023, starting off selling compounded Semaglutide. Since then, they now offer Tirzepatide and oral forms of each medication.

There are a couple downsides of FuturHealth at the moment.

First, they charge a $99/month membership fee, and medication is an added cost. However, the membership includes follow-up chats from board-certified clinicians and dietitians to help you reach your weight goals.

Second, their app isn’t that great, and sometimes unreadable on screens (this goes for the iphone app). There have been some complaints on TrustPilot that there isn’t an efficient way to reach their medical team when customers have questions.

All that said, FuturHealth has over 6,000+ customer reviews on Trustpilot and they only focus on GLP-1 weight loss medication services. There are A LOT of people using FuturHealth, and they continue to trend upwards.

One would choose FuturHealth based on positive feedback and the meds working as advertised. However, for those who want a true personalized plan according to their unique stage in life, you may want to consider the other options.

Raising Awareness on GLP-1 Weight Loss & Muscle Building

If you’re going to take a GLP-1 for weight loss, we strongly recommend getting on a strength training program and prioritize high protein meals.

I am a NASM Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and wanted to share my expertise to help you stay strong while taking GLP-1 medication.

One of the biggest knocks on GLP-1’s is the “flat look.” If you have ever seen someone that has used a GLP-1 medication, you may notice a flat butt, or a deflated look about them.

Unfortunately, many brands send you the meds without the proper tools to have the body transformation you’re actually looking for.

This leaves people with taking the medication, which helps them lose a lot of fat, but doesn’t help with building lean muscle. I’m here to raise awareness that this is a really big issue, and you can stay ahead of it by getting educated and taking action.

ScienceDaily posted a GLP-1 muscle loss article that was originally published in The Lancet. It highlights the rate of muscle decline while taking a GLP-1 is significantly higher than what usually happens with regular dieting or normal aging, and that it could cause unexpected health problems.

So, what should you do when taking a GLP-1?

Focus On Building Muscle

When you lose a bunch of weight with a GLP-1, you’re likely going to lose a lot of fat. If you don’t focus on building muscle, you’ll obtain that “flat look.” Nobody wants a flat butt.

There are two main ways to build muscle, and I’m not talking about lifting like Arnold. We can all start as beginners.

Strength Training

The best approach to build muscle is to strength train and perform lifts that target specific muscle groups. You can do 3, 4, or 5 day per week programs. There are plenty of strength training apps and programs out there, but I will share with you a 3-day program and a 4-day program, for free. These are beginner-friendly programs (located at the bottom of this page).

High Protein Meals

While taking a GLP-1, you’re most likely going to have reduced food cravings. This is good, yes, but the food that we do eat we want to capitalize on - and that’s going to be whole foods high in protein.

Why protein?

Protein provides amino acids that your body needs to grow and repair muscle tissue after strength training. In a nutshell - eating more protein is going to help you build muscle.

I created a 3-day per week program and a 4-day per week program for you. Both are 4 weeks long.
