A while back, I reviewed Primal Queen’s original product, their beef organ supplement, and it has been one of the most popular reviews I’ve ever done. Between Primal Queen’s marketing, their thousands of positive reviews, and the fact that beef organ supplements are highly trending right now, you all have loved learning more about Primal Queen and my experience with it.
So when Primal Queen launched a new supplement recently, I knew I had to get my hands on it and share my findings with you. Primal Queen’s latest supplement is PQ,7 and it’s a natural GLP-1 alternative. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know the GLP-1 craze has been building rapidly, and whether you’re on board with it or not, it’s not going anywhere.

Primal Queen obviously recognized and acknowledged that the idea of appetite suppression and regulation is highly popular and needed, but that not everyone is interested in using extreme measures like injections to achieve the results. I’ve seen a lot of GLP-1 alternatives out there, like the one offered by Make Wellness, but many of them don’t really provide much in the way of actual results. And, just so we’re clear, my stance is that there isn’t going to be any GLP-1 alternative that can produce the same results as a GLP-1. That said, for those who simply want to experiment with an all-natural alternative that’s cost-effective and gentle, I’m supportive of it.
So let’s talk about PQ7, and maybe this will help you determine whether or not it would be worth giving a try.
The Promise
Let’s start with what the promise of PQ7 is, and that’s to help users feel more in control around food again and therefore eat less and lose weight. It’s no secret that many of us feel out of control around food - even people like me who help people with diet and exercise and weight loss for a living struggle with this from time to time!

And I happen to agree with all of the methodology behind PQ7’s claims about how the world and our culture are very conducive to overeating and gaining weight. We’re constantly bombarded with highly palatable foods - everything is processed and filled with sugar, so it tastes good, and we all know what happens when something tastes good - we just keep wanting more and more of it. Plus, we all seem to be living these hyper-busy and overwhelming lives where it’s natural for us to want to reach for the most convenient option, which is unfortunately, not usually the healthiest.
So PQ7 was created to combat all this, and, in theory, it makes a ton of sense. With our natural hunger pathways more or less hijacked by modern food, we’re constantly snacking, hungry, overstimulated, and making poor nutritional choices. The claim is that PQ7 helps regulate all four of our natural appetite systems in the body, which dictate how satisfied you feel, how fast hunger hits you again after eating, emotional eating patterns, and how your body determines when to stop eating.
The idea is that when these pathways are regulated and not screaming at you so loudly, you’ll consume fewer calories, and when you consume fewer calories (enough to put you in a calorie deficit), you will lose weight. Trying to lose weight by consuming fewer calories on your own can be incredibly difficult if you’re struggling with overeating, snacking, and “food noise.” PQ7 was designed to help with all of this.
Will It Work?
This is the big question, right? You want to know that if you invest your hard-earned money into something, it’ll provide you with the benefits you’re seeking and that it’s promising. But here’s the thing when it comes to supplements: there’s never a guarantee that it’ll work, and your results may vary greatly from someone else’s. And another thing that I want to point out is that a lot of the claims and reviews that get made and posted about products, especially supplements, are paid reviews, so it’s very difficult to discern what’s real and what’s not, sadly.
However, when it comes to Primal Queen’s PQ7, they do offer a 365-day money-back guarantee, which does make choosing to give it a try a bit easier, knowing that you could theoretically get your money back if the product didn’t deliver the desired results. I’ll be honest, I am not sure what hoops you need to jump through (if any) to get your money back, but it’s stated on their website, so I assume they honor it.
At the time I am writing this, this product is still very new, and reviews and feedback are limited. Of course, Primal Queen has several testimonials featured on their website that are positive, and I hope the results these reviewers are claiming are true.
I’m not going to go into the ingredients of PQ7 too much because I’m not a doctor or scientist and am not going to pretend to be. What I will say is that there are six main ingredients, all of which are all-natural and plant-based. Four out of the six ingredients are straightforward and not blended (barberry root, saffron extract, colostrum, and red orange extract). The only two ingredients are proprietary blends (Metabolaid and AstraGin). I’m not usually a fan of proprietary blends, but I was able to find some clinical studies on both of these patented blends that showed positive results, so that’s encouraging.

My Experience With PQ7 Thus Far
I received my PQ7 starter kit the other day. Primal Queen sets up its products as subscriptions, so once you purchase, you can expect to get a new shipment delivered every month until you cancel. Some people are really bothered by subscriptions, but so long as canceling is easy, I don’t mind them at all, especially if it’s a product that I’m using and committed to, I don’t want to forget to re-order. The cost is $59 per month, and your first month comes with a reusable glass jar with a bamboo lid (just like what you get when you order Primal Queen’s beef organs), and a cute little travel pill case keychain.

The directions tell you to take two capsules per day, preferably before meals. I also saw on their website that they recommend one before breakfast and one before dinner. From what I can tell, this is a supplement that will take some time to work, and it must be taken consistently as well. This is another reason why the monthly subscription model works well for products like this - it’s definitely not something that you take for a few weeks, get results, and then stop. It’s designed to be a supportive tool that you take long-term.

I am not actively trying to lose weight, but for the purpose of this review and out of my own interest, I am giving PQ7 a try. This is also a product that I can see my Simply Strong App community being curious and asking me about, so I like to have legit feedback for them.
I don’t have any results to report after only a few days, but I will be sure to come back and update this article if/when I do. My biggest piece of advice when considering a supplement like this is to just try it if you feel compelled. At $59, it’s not cheap, but it’s also a lot less expensive than some other options, and the money-back guarantee helps make the investment a little less risky should you find that the results you get don’t match the price you’re paying for it.
I know it would be a lot more compelling if I told you that this product is a miracle worker and that you should absolutely purchase it, but I don’t want to be misleading or make any sweeping claims. I’m hopeful that it will provide appetite suppressant results, especially for those who are really struggling with cravings and overeating, but everyone will have different experiences with different supplements, so it’s always best to try it for yourself and see what happens.
I also want to be clear that while I am supportive of trying supplements like this to see if it helps with your appetite regulation and cravings, I believe that a healthy, balanced diet and movement routine should always accompany any attempts to lose weight. I recommend trying your best to limit processed foods, eat mostly whole, natural foods, prioritize protein and fiber, and move your body daily. Even if PQ7 works really well for you (I hope it does!), you’ll see the best results from making lifestyle changes that support a healthy body long-term. If you need support with any of that, you can connect with me directly in the Simply Strong App.
Finally, we love open conversations here and would love to hear from you if you’ve tried PQ7! If you decide to purchase it today, be sure to come back and let us know how you feel after you try it. Your feedback and conversations are always welcome and so helpful for others navigating their own purchasing decisions.
