I shared my experience with Primal Queen recently, and have had hundreds of women read that article and purchase Primal Queen based on my experience. In fact, I’ve turned quite a few of my clients in the Simply Strong App onto this product! I’ve gotten a ton of questions since writing that article, one of which was what I thought about Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony supplement in comparison to Primal Queen’s beef organs product.
My initial response was that these are two drastically different products, but I can also see why she would be comparing them, as the claims are very similar between the two products. I decided to take a closer look at these two products and compare them based on my research and personal experience with Primal Queen. Please note, I have not tried Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony product, so I do not have any personal experience to pull from for this article (and I explain why!).
Comparing the Product Similarities and Differences
At first glance, Primal Queen and Happy Mammoth are sharing a very similar product - one that’s designed to help balance hormones naturally. However, the formulas that each of these brands uses are very different.
Primal Queen is a beef organ supplement. The only ingredients in Primal Queen are 6 different beef organs (liver, heart, kidney, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries). All beef liver in this product is grass-fed, pasture-raised, and free of hormones, antibiotics, gluten, and they’re non-GMO. Primal Queen utilizes 3rd party testing for their products to ensure they are safe, clean, and pure.

Results-wise, Primal Queen has done clinical trials, and the results have shown that women see an increase in energy after 3 cycles, an increase in satisfaction with menstrual cycles, a perceived improvement in hormone imbalances, and an improvement in mood rating. This product is specifically designed for women, using female-specific beef organs to address and heal common hormonal imbalances. Beef organs have been widely known as one of nature’s most abundant sources of nutrients for centuries.
Switching gears to talk about Happy Mammoth's Hormone Harmony product, this supplement makes many of the same promises that Primal Queen does (support for hormone regulation), however, their formulation is much different. Hormone Harmony contains several different “proprietary blends” or “complexes” which are basically a mixture of various different ingredients in undisclosed amounts. Personally, I don’t love seeing blends or complexes on the back of supplements because it indicates that they are not fully disclosing the exact amounts of each ingredient. And, legally, they are not required to.
Hormone Harmony contains a “HM5 MenoBalance Complex,” a “HM4 MenoShred Complex,” and an “HM2 MenoMood Complex.” Within each of these complexes, there are a bunch of ingredients in various amounts. The website states that the product is formulated with science-backed ingredients, but as a consumer, it’s hard to trust that, as we don’t know how much of each ingredient is in there and if the combination is effective for anything. I also didn’t find any information about 3rd party testing on Happy Mammoth’s website, which is honestly a red flag for me when it comes to supplements.
Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony might be a great product that works for many women (if the reviews are legitimate, it certainly seems like it works for many!), but being a personal trainer and nutrition coach, this is the kind of product that I have been educated on avoiding. Also, as someone who values knowing exactly what I am putting in my body, this product, which is a blend of many different ingredients and is supposed to treat many different problems, just isn’t clear enough for me to trust.
So the glaring difference between Primal Queen and Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony is that Primal Queen is made from beef liver organs only and is 3rd party tested for safety and efficacy, and Hormone Harmony is made from a giant blend of ingredients and not 3rd party tested. For me, if I were deciding between these two products, the choice would be very clear.
Now, whether or not a certain product will “work” for you or not is unknown and might be something that you have to be willing to experiment with. I would just encourage you to choose a product that you feel is safe and reputable.

Wrapping Up
I’ve had a great experience with Primal Queen and feel as though it’s a very safe and reliable product for increased energy and menstrual cycle regulation (as someone with PCOS, this was my main reason for trying it). I do not have experience with Happy Mammoth, but to be honest, it’s not a product that I would feel comfortable with, as I believe there are a few too many ingredients with not enough transparency with amounts.
I’m not saying that Hormone Harmony isn’t a good product or that it doesn’t work, because it very well might; I’m simply sharing my personal feedback and opinions. Plus, I’ve tried very similar products in the past and have not had great results. I am the type of person who would prefer the natural remedy any day, and beef organs are about as natural as it gets.
