If you’ve been seriously considering compounded GLP-1 medications, or even testosterone therapy (TRT), you’ve likely come across Henry Meds and RemedyMeds.
They are two very big brands in the telemedicine space and are very similar in many ways. However, there are some differences and key offerings that you may want to consider.
And, after covering telemedicine providers since 2019, I know a thing or two when it comes to choosing a reputable GLP-1 brand that actually delivers on their promises.

Walking Through The Remedy Meds Process
Remedy Meds has one of the easiest mechanisms for getting a compounded GLP-1 prescription. And the proof is in the pudding, as they have over 40,000 weight loss patients in their system with a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on trustpilot.
Side note: I have extensive knowledge with Remedy Meds, as I interviewed one of their team members a while back, asking the tough questions. If you want to see that, read my Remedy Meds review, it's very insightful.
Onward: I filled out their online assessment (quiz) and here’s what I gathered from it:
Testing The Quiz
I completed the quiz 2 times. Why? Because I wanted to see if it was legit. Would they pre-qualify me if I answered the questions knowing I shouldn’t be pre-qualified? Let’s find out.
Each time the quiz took me around 3-5 minutes.
The first time I took the quiz, I answered the questions as if I would pre-qualify. It’s the most comprehensive quiz I took among all GLP-1 providers - it asked me about everything you could think of, in terms of medical history.
For example, I answered questions on my health history, if I was allergic to medication, if I had type II diabetes, height / weight, disorders, etc.
After completing my first test and answering the questions, I got pre-approved for the medication - not surprising.
It immediately took me to a web page to view the medication options, so I clicked on it, which moved me on to the choose my medication page. There were two medications to choose from (more on that later) and I would check-out from there. Then their US-licensed and board-certified doctors will review my information to officially approve me. This could take up to 24-48 hours, so be patient.
Remedy Meds accepts cash only, so there is no insurance. If you are looking for a good GLP-1 insurance provider, you should totally look into Fridays or Found - they’re two of the best when it comes to insurance coverage with this type of medication.
So wait… I need to pay before I get the doctor’s approval?
Yes, that’s how most of these GLP-1 telemedicine brands work. You pay for the medication, then the doctor looks over your assessment (quiz answers). From there, the doctor will determine if you are eligible or ineligible.
If you’re ineligible, they’ll give 100% of your money back within 24-48 hours.
If you’re eligible, you’ll receive the notice and the doctor will start to write the prescription, then their compounding pharmacy will ship it to your door.
Now onto the second test, where I answered the questions knowing I shouldn’t be pre-approved. Here are some screenshots I took for proof:

And, as you can see from this last picture, the quiz software said, “Sorry you are not qualified for this program.”

I was actually really surprised to see this result because most GLP-1 providers pre-approve you regardless of your answers. This is coming from someone (myself) taking over 50 quizzes from various compounded GLP-1 telemedicine brands. It tells me that Remedy Meds is legit, and they don’t pre-qualify everyone.
Pricing & Medication
Compounded Semaglutide: $299/mo
Compounded Tirzepatide: $399/mo
Remedy Meds offers $120 off your first month with this link

Important note: Currently, the FDA is determining whether or not compounded GLP-1s will be allowed, so stay tuned on that. As of right now, RemedyMeds offers compounded Tirzepatide.
Other Perks
There are two major perks when it comes to going with Remedy Meds.
First, they offer a money-back guarantee. It states if you don’t lose 10 pounds in the first 3 months, you can request your money back with no questions asked.
Second, they run an excellent operation when it comes to customer care - you get unlimited messaging with their certified clinicians. That means any questions you have will get answered any time you need them. Most GLP-1 providers offer a monthly or bi-monthly check-in service, so unlimited messaging to me is above and beyond customer service.
Walking Through The Henry Meds Process
When I land on Henry Meds’ website, I get major men-vibes. They do have a few images where there’s women, but since they offer testosterone therapy along with compounded GLP-1s, I would say Henry Meds is more for men than women.
Testing The “Get Started” Button
The Henry Meds process is completely different from Remedy Meds, and different from other compounded GLP-1 providers I have covered.
Henry Meds does not use a quiz at first to gather your information. Instead, I booked an appointment with one of their Physician Assistants. However, there are more steps.

After booking the appointment, I had to select my plan and then pay for it.

Since I’m just testing their process, I stopped at the payment part. After payment, I would have filled out an intake form. From there, their board-certified doctors would determine if I qualify or not. So, that part is similar to Remedy Meds.
Some people may need to do lab work to verify a medical need for the treatment.
Here’s a screenshot of the steps:

I’m the type of person who would rather take a quiz, get prequalified, have the doctor take a look and not go through a telehealth visit. I’m too busy to be carving out 15-30 minutes when in this day and age, everything should be able to be done online.
Pricing & Medication
Henry Meds offers a few more medications for weight loss, and I will list those with the pricing below:
Every now and then, Henry Meds runs a promotion for your first month’s purchase.
Compounded Semaglutide (Injectable): $297/mo
Compounded Semaglutide (Oral Tablets & Drops): $249/mo
Compounded Tirzepatide (Injectable): $449/mo
Compounded Tirzepatide (Oral): $349/mo
Liraglutide Injectable: $149/mo
Phentermine Weight Management: $149/mo
Are There Perks?
I do not see a money-back guarantee, nor do I see unlimited messaging with their clinicians. They do however, provide monthly check-ins with their patients, which is a standard offering for most providers.
Other Brands To Consider and Why
I would imagine some people reading this just want the meds and “leave me alone.” While others might want to go with a brand that fits their lifestyle or stage of life.
If you just want the meds and be left alone, Remedy Meds is a great option, plus you can start with $120 off your first month.
However, if you’re looking to find a brand where there’s other, similar folks like you, here are some options.
While GLP-1 medications are typically prescribed based on specific medical criteria, one company openly markets compounded GLP-1s to anyone - even those who don’t meet traditional eligibility requirements.
I mentioned this earlier, but here are the two brands that are great with insurance coverage:
Which One Is Better For You? Remedy Meds or Henry Meds?
Down to the brass tacks - Remedy Meds or Henry Meds?
Here are my thoughts based on my research, going through each brand’s process and my years of experience covering similar telemedicine brands.

What’s Next?
If you’re serious about starting a compounded GLP-1 to help you lose weight, Remedy Meds, Henry Meds and all the other alternative brands on this post are great options.
Choose the one that fits you best - only you will know which one that is, given the information provided.
When you’re ready, start the process by taking their quiz, and in a few weeks, you could be on your way to reach your goals.
ps: If you have chosen one of these brands, leave your comment below and tell us how it went - we’d love to hear from you.
pps: If you’ve been following research on GLP-1s, you might have heard that it could cause muscle loss. The way to stay ahead is to find a good strength training program. I recommend the FHM+ App for women, and Future Fitness for men. Imagine having the medications and a proven strength program… you could lose weight and look toned - that’s pretty cool.
